Stewardship

As a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, you are a steward of our Parish's resources.  You are in a long line going back more than 150 years to the founding of a Catholic parish in Caledonia.  It is our privilege today to care for and pass on a Catholic parish that is able to meet the needs of those who will come after us. 

Looking ahead at the need of our parish for the coming year, we will need the support of every one of our members.  Parish expenses this year are expected to total $613,585.  [Download 2009 Annual Report] 

Your contributions help fund:

• Visits to the sick, the homebound, and the elderly
• Pastoral care and counseling for individuals and families
• Bereavement care
• Youth Ministry
• Celebration of the Sacraments
• Preparing adults to enter the church
• Catholic education
• Spiritual formation
• Outreach and service outside the parish
• Care of our historic and beautiful church

This year we are asking everyone to help by:

1. Making a commitment to give regularly.
2. Making a pledge for the year which begins January 1, 2011.

Your pledged commitment helps the parish plan on how much money we will have to work with in the coming year.   We will know when to expect it.  To make a pledge, complete the Pledge Card and return it by placing it in the collection at Mass or by mail.  Returning your pledge card now will help the Parish plan for the coming year.    Download Pledge Card

Using Automatic Bank Withdrawal

St. Mary's is pleased to offer a new service to its members, Automatic Bank Withdrawal. 

With Automatic Withdrawal, your contribution is taken directly out of your checking or savings account on the 10th of each month.

It is a safe and convenient way for you to give, and also helps the parish.  You may start Automatic Withdrawal at any time.

If you would like to begin using Automatic Bank Withdrawal for your monthly gift, please complete and return the authorization form to the Parish Office.
