Our mission is to hear the Word, share in the sacrifice, serve the Lord, and create community.
Registration
forms for Generations of Faith were distributed as a
bulletin insert the weekend of August 7-8. Extra copies are
available in church or by downloading a form from the Faith
Formation page on this website.
This year, all parents are asked to register their children during August. Children/youth in Preschool (from age 4) through Grade 7 have separate classes during Generations of Faith events, and we will be taking attendance this year.
Please see the Faith Formation page for information about Season Tickets and the schedule of events.
If you have a child in second, ninth, or tenth grades and have not yet registered them to prepare for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation, please contact the Parish Office at 725-3804.

This fall marks our sixth year of Generations of Faith. We continue the tradition of beginning with a chickenque. Come enjoy delicious grilled chicken, baked beans, potato salad, dinner roll and beverage from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in St. Mary's Gym.
The program begins at 6:00 p.m. "In the Beginning" is the first in our series on the Old Testament this year. Come and meet the men and women whose stories are told in the Hebrew scriptures, and learn how God speaks to us today through the Bible.
In the Beginning, on September 15, takes us back to the events in the Book of Genesis: creation, the Great Flood, and the amazing family story that began with Abraham and Sarah.
Admission to In the Beginning is $6 per household if you pay at the door or by the event. When you buy a Season Ticket for $30, your cost is just $5 per event.
Admission does not include the chickenque. There is a suggested donation of $7.50 per adult and $4 per child. It is a freewill donation; pay only what you can afford.

We are pleased to announce that Fr. Jim Marchionda, OP, and John
Angotti will be returning here for a Parish Mission next year!
If you missed the Mission in 2009, you'll want to be sure to mark
your calendars now. The Mission will begin on Sunday
evening, January 30 and continue on Monday evening,
January 31. The fi
nal
night of the Mission will be Tuesday, February 1,
with a closing reception in Holy Family Hall.
Fr. Jim, a Dominican priest, is an inspiring speaker, musician and composer. He travels throughout the year, giving missions and leading retreats. John Angotti is a nationally known Christian musician and composer. He regularly headlines at large national events such as the National Catholic Youth Conference in Kansas City last November.
On Monday and Tuesday mornings during the Mission, Fr. Jim will say Mass and John will lead the music. Fr. Jim is also available during the day to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Be sure to invite friends and family for the 2011 St. Mary's Parish Mission, January 30 - February 1.
Many
of us heard Steve at the National Catholic Youth Conference in
Kansas City last November. He was the emcee and played and
sang many memorable songs. The Diocese of Winona has announced
that Steve will be here for our own Diocesan Catholic Youth
Conference on November 13-14, 2010!
DCYC will be in Rochester this year. We anticipate taking a group from our parish. Click here for more details.
